Again I like this one becuase the intimacy of it, I love the delicate drawing along with the handwritten comments and the use of tracing paper fits the publication really well and overall makes it look so beautiful.

Much like the other one I really like the effect of the ripped paper as it makes it feel so much more personal along with the handwritten style font, gives the overall feel that someone has tried to communicate something intimate with you.

The reason I find this publication interesting is I like the somewhat personal feel the ripped brown paper cover gives, it makes it seem more real which I feel counteracts the impersonal side of art publication, it looks like you've stumble upon someone's diary or possession which some has carefully ripped the cover of very carefully.

This is one of the most creative examples I've seen and really highlighted to me that you do not necessarily have to use words to make a good publication as I would defiantly buy this book as I think it is so innovative.

My Difficultly with the art publication project was that I really did not like how impersonal it could be with having to produce copies of the publication and this really counteracted the art that I find interesting which is intimate art that felt very real and raw. Whilst I was trying to come to terms of how to do this project I found a audio in which a interviewer briefly mentions the artist Yves Klein but it spiked my interest and once researching him both online and in the library I feel in love with his work and thought it encompassed everything I was trying to push away from with the publication assignment. As Klein's work was around the time of the pop art movement in which there was a lot of commercialisation in art his style pushed away from that and tried to capture a moment or a time using the human body, his primary reason for doing this was he believed the body was a signifier of life! Therefore my research developed to studying his work more in depth...
